FEBRUARY SOED CAMPAIGN
Over the next three weeks (Tuesday nights) we will be using Mark 7:20-23 as the foundation for our Bible Study as we engage in a personal heart check to see if any of the 13 things that Jesus says defile a person are present within ourselves.
MARK 7:20-23 (1-23)
2OAnd he said, l“What comes out of a person is what defiles him. 21 For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22 coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. 23 All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
This will be a time to discover any signs or potential risk factors that could lead to us being defiled by what is coming out of our hearts.
Take this to heart…
Doing a heart check is the only way to know if you are at risk of being defiled. And with so much defilement going on around us, we're better off knowing where we stand. Participate in this heart check this month to live or continue living a life that is pleasing to God.
Make plans to join us as we engage in this necessary study of the scriptures and examine the state of our hearts and our worship towards our God.
